Day 14 - San Francisco
Onto the final day of the trip, and just a quick stop-off in San Francisco on the way to the airport.
We only had 5 hours here so I didn't manage to see much of the city at all. I took a boat cruise around the (rather foggy) bay to pass underneath the Golden Gate Bridge and around Alcatraz island. Unfortunately, I also went over to Pier 39 which turned out to be a bit of a tourist trap, in fact the whole of that bay area felt like a poor-man's Blackpool with extremely tacky gift shops. Pier 39 itself though did have shops with more respectable items in!
I was also disappointed not to see any cars launching themselves over the humps in the streets...
